The weather station consists of the main unit with a 5-in-1 wireless sensor for measuring wind speed and direction, rainfall, temperature and humidity. The second part of the Sencor SWS 9700 is a 5.8 colour display with a detailed overview of information, radio clock and date and several control buttons at the bottom. The main unit and the sensor together communicate in the open space at a distance of up to 150m. The Sencor SWS 9700 can be mounted on a wall, for example, but can also be placed virtually anywhere in your home.

The Sencor SWS 9700 weather station will give you the weather forecast for 12 to 24 hours based on changes in air pressure and temperature. The sensor also measures barometric pressure, velocity, gusts and wind temperature, and features rainfall and rainfall measurements over the past five days. The Hi/Lo temperature alarm warns you when conditions reach extreme ranges.
